About Sister Webs Design Studio
Kim Skimmons is the founder and co-president of Sister Webs Design Studio. She is an experienced software and web developer. Over the years she has worked for Microsoft, IBM, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and several smaller software companies in the areas of software design and development, systems analysis, web development, and user interface design. Industries include healthcare, educational software, federal systems, banking, hospitality, non-profits, and multiple small business initiatives to name a few.
Kim founded Sister Webs in 2008. She lives in Gaithersburg, MD with her husband, three kids, dog, multiple hamsters, and other assorted critters that the kids drag home.

Charlene Dillingham is the co-president of Sister Webs Design Studio. She joined the team in 2009. Like Kim, Charlene has a background in software design and system analysis. She worked for 19 years at GE Information Services (now GXS) in the areas of software development, system analysis, fault isolation, customer service and program management. Charlene has run her own business since 2001 and is active in her community, coordinating several large annual events. Charlene resides in Laytonsville, MD with her husband, two sons and their big Golden Retriever, Cookie.
No, we’re not sisters. The name Sister Webs is a reminder of our commitment to finding a cure to women’s cancers. Sister Webs donates 5% of it’s profits to women’s cancer charities to assist women affected by female cancers. Please click here for more information about our commitment to this cause.
